Dr. Oleg Zagnitko - Partner, Co-Head of Banking & Finance Practice Group, Beiten Burkhardt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, Representative Office in Kyiv
Dr. Zagnitko joined the firm in 2005 and focuses his practice in the corporate and financial law. Oleg Zagnitko advised on a number of large M&A projects, complex investment and financing projects, debt and equity securities issue and placement as well as restructuring and privatization of state property; he is also experienced in international trade law, including anti-dumping investigations. Dr. Zagnitko served as an economic law expert to legislative and judicial bodies.
Before joining Beiten Burkhardt Kyiv, Dr. Zagnitko worked as a senior researcher, lead lawyer and second rank attorney at the NAS of Ukraine in 1996-2001. He gained professional experience as an associate and senior associate with the leading Ukrainian law firm in 2001-2005. Dr. Zagnitko has substantial academic background, including lecturing at Economics & Law Faculty of Donetsk National University and in 1998-2001 and other institutions of higher education.
Dr. Oleg Zagnitko holds degrees from Donetsk State University, Ukraine (Specialist, 1996), John Marshall Law School, Chicago, USA (LL.M., 1998) and Economy & Law Research Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Donetsk, (Candidate of Legal Sciences in Economic Law, 1999).
