Mr. Suslov was born in 1955 in Russia. He graduated from Kharkov State University. He worked in Kharkov State University form 1980 till 1990. He was a doctoral candidate at Odessa Institute of Economy in 1990-1992. Mr. Suslov's previous positions include: Chief advisor of Economic Service of the President of Ukraine (1992-1993); Head of the Parliament's Banking and finance commission (1994-1997, 1998-2002); Head of State Financial Services Market Regulation Commission (2002-2006); Deputy Minister of internal affairs (2006-2007). Mr. Suslov has a PhD degree.
